2017 Conference

You are invited to submit a Proposal for Presentation for the 2017 Diversity is Reality: Respect is a Choice William Glasser Institute – US Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina July 26 to 29! You must be certified to present, or have a certified person present with you to serve as lead presenter. We invite innovative proposals from our tried and true presenters, as well as from our newer members!


We are looking for exciting paper (60 mins) and workshop (90 mins)presentations on Reality Therapy, Choice Theory, Lead Management, and Quality School Education. Our 2017 conference theme is Diversity, in support of social justice and in protest against House Bill 2, passed by the State of North Carolina in March 2016. Proposals that involve diversity are especially welcomed.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DEADLINE FOR PROPOSAL SUBMISSION IS EARLIER THAN FOR PREVIOUS CONFERENCES. This aims to support WGI-US offering continuing education units to participants who register to obtain CEUs for CEU-eligible presentations.


Proposal Submission Guidelines [please note that the paid registration of Lead and Co-Presenters is required]:


  • Paper sessions are 60 minutes: a combination of interactive discussion & didactic presentation
  • Workshops are 90 minutes: experiential sessions
  • Sessions at the conference are conducted in English
